As they say, 'A picture may be worth a 1000 words'. This is also true where visualization is worried. Individuals from all walks of existence have practised visualization for hundreds of years, at different stages of the lives, even different times of their lives. It is just recently that visualization method has been broadly trained in today's world from the corporate world, learning institution, medical institutions and other great tales.

Different types of visualization include daydreaming, fantasizing, mental rehearsals, and imagination. A lot of us have frequently fantasized about winning the lottery, getting a more satisfactory job, getting that nice physique, opting for that dream luxurious vacation, driving that dream vehicle, even remaining within the dream house. For Negative Visualization, the issue can originate from a young age or when many people may constantly be inflicted with 'mental torture' or told the way they are great-for-nothing, a complete failure or perhaps the cause of the numerous problems experienced by their loved ones etc. This can inevitably make the person to build up an inferiority complex resulting in negative visualization, for example performance or social anxiety.
